Naming Ceremonies

A naming ceremony can apply to a person at any stage of their life.

For a child, it is an opportunity for family and friends to celebrate with that young person.

There are also stages within a person’s life when naming (or renaming) is a special moment to be highlighted and recognised.

In acknowledgment of these special moments in life, a personalised, and very special, ceremony can be written and delivered.

As it is written around the people and family involved, and it can include the special elements and people in the individual’s life.  This may include songs and music (sung by those present, maybe).

As the celebrant, I can write and tell the stories that have been passed onto me at interview, share hopes and dreams and the significance of the names, perhaps. 

So whether a new life or a adjustment to life, a ceremony can be written and delivered.
